383 sbc

    i am looking at building a 383 for my 83 swb, i have a 350 4 bolt, wondering if anyone can give me any info on this size motor, i have a new crank coming, not sure if i should get flat top or dish pistons??, can any on let me know how these run, are they really that much better thatn a 350?? any info will be appreciated

    sure, stroking it to a 383 is better, youll get more power by changing the stroke of the motor, dont forget to machine your block to except the crank if your going to stroke it to a 383.
