4 Speed auto for 1980 3/4 4 x 4

Is there a bolt in 4 speed auto for a 1980 3/4 ton 4 x 4 with Turbo 400?

 

Easiest option would be a 700r4. It may require a different t-case and lengthening your driveshafts.

 

What you are looking for is a Gear Vendors Overdrive http://www.gearvendors.com/index.html. But it is much cheaper to buy a heavy duty 700R4 http://www.maddogtransmissions.com/ .

 

Those are the two choices have to agree with drabo unless you really want it .

 

I guess there is no truly bolt in replacement. I have a NP 205 I think with the turbo 400.

 

Well there is a 374 in the 1990's I think can't rember for sure, all it is really is a computer controled 400 you would need a wireing & computer & that trans . So it sort a like two evils price wise, most like better with the 700R4
