402 bb rare?

i have a 402 bb and was wanting to know if it was a rare moter and if so how much is one in good condition worth

The 402 is semi rare,
it actually is an overbored "396".
the plant the "396" was assembled had a little trouble with the alignment of the boreing bar, so legend goes.
mid year 1969 and up, all "396's" are supposedly 402 cubic inches by the increased bore size needed to fix the problem. In some cases such as trucks and large cars they are referred to as "400's".

a 402 is a 71 up 396 all chevy cars/trucks
yes the fenders still said 396 but they 're 402
396( 30 over)
worth ?????????

but it's just a 396 and chevy made mill. of um..
