I am going to post some pictures of my truck that came home today. The bed should be ready next week. Anyway, I woul dlike to know how to post the thumbnail so that it doesn't take up as much room then you can click to enlarge if you want to. Has that been explained anywhere? Anyway, for now, here she is all clean and ready!
Wow! You must have been posting this when I was telling you about my need for a "red truck Fix". That truck is awesome! You are the man!
Thanks After he painted it and it looked fine to me he took a DA sander to it. I about croaked. Then he showed me the slight imprefections that were in the paint before sanding. Honestly it looked fine to me beforehand but he DA sanded it then buffed it out. The guy is such a perfectionist I am afraid he isn't going to be able to stay here in East Tenn and compete. I think he will end up moving to a bigger metro area somewhere. Rumor is he has told some others in the community that he really likes it here but he will have to move. At least I got mine painted before he left. Thanks for the comments. I am really pleased with the results. Bill
Move to Nashville Hey gator tell him to move to Nashville. I know of another truck here that will need to be painted and the area is big enough that he should do well. The truck is really coming along great.
wow whoa, buddy, that truck is super classy!! can't wait till mine looks that good!! congrats, man! btw, i used to live in tennessee (see, i can spell it correctly) talahasee (probably spelled that one wrong) anyway, my old man was a park ranger at the great smokey mountains, we lived right on chilhowee lake (sp??) anywho, gorgeous country out there, and lots of really great windy old roads to cruise on, eh? jon
Gater- the image I was looking at was a little blurry- I'm sure it's just my puter. Does that say "Soutthern" on the hood emblem???? Outstanding my man! I'm afraid I'd have to tell my wife I'd "need a few quiet moments with my truck" and hope she'd fall asleep while waiting for me to come back in! That's gonna be hard to beat with my rattle cans, I gotta' admit!
