    '47~ '54 Fenders

Putting your location in helps generate more responses .

They're out there , I occasionally see dent free ones ,kinda pricy though , $200 is too much for just an AD rear fender IMO .

If you're out of the City , look for old home made trailers from pickup beds ~ they're typically *very* cheap and once you've peeled off the good fender(s) you can put some old tires that hold air and re-wire the taillights and sell it again for $50 ~ $100.....

    Love it!

I love your way of thinking, Nate!

I always keep an eye out for just such a trailer. I'll be needing the whole bed one of these days.

I hope Tom's Trucks in Miami, Oklahoma is still open. I know he had LOTS of used fenders, bed sides and gates in good condition.

    Can't wait~

    Old Trailers

I passed a Task Force trailer full of cordwood to-day and it had " $100 " spray painted on the fender , I was wondering if that was for the whole trailer full of wood or maybe the trailer was for sale....

I stupidly passed up a battered but complete '49 pickup bed trailer with an electric dump hoist and hand brake for $75 a number of years ago....

Still kicking myself for that one .

Back when I was doing Salvage - Reconstruct , I often bought junkers or wrecks just for one part ,then I'd keep it around and use the various hard wares
and misc. parts on other jobs until it was bare .
