Good for him, bad for us!

That's why you can't find a good project truck, or genuine replacement parts, without getting a second mortgage on your house, or printing money in your basement (which, BTW, is VERY illegal). Call me old fashioned, but this hobby, or obsession, whichever fits, has gotten out of hand! Long gone are the days when you could go to the local boneyard and buy 2 donors for every 1 project car and not pay more than 50 bucks (and hard earned ones at that) to do so. Now, everyone has a "rare, classic, vintage, hard to find", piece o' sh*t rotting out in the back 40 that they think is worth 100 times more than it is!

First rant of 2009!! Guys, am I mellowing or what?;):D Damn, that felt good!

But I'm shure he had at least that in it to restore it to that level.

    Sad But True

The real bad thing is : the jerkoffs who don't really CARE about old iron , aretrying to get back the entire cost of restoration

Were I rich , I know just what I'd do to my '49 and it wouldn't be restoration !

    :D
