So I'm working on the heater in my '49 truck. It appears I have the later model 53-55 heater however the core leaks. I've seen plenty of 47-52 cores and am wondering if one will fit. What are my options for a new core or do I have to spend $375 for someone to rebuild it?
The late '53 to 55.1 heater core is different in dimensions, mounting brackets & tube configuration. We have a good selection of '53-55.1 pressure tested cores. PM us for more info.
