Hey guys, I gotta a kinda dumb question here. I bought the SS brake line kit froim JC a couple of months ago. I went to do some work last night and it appears that the original brake lines are 3/16" and the new set is 1/4" so the line doesn't fit the junction block. Has anyone else had this problem? (I didn't any mention in previous posts....also I checked my parts truck which is a unmolested '54).

    Thanks, Josh

IIRC , the change was made in '51 when they went to Bendix brakes ~

They sent you the wrong set I think .

Thanks, Russ. I checked on napaonline but I'm not always good with that site. I'll check in person.

Answered this for Blueflame 235 but here it is again; Flare Adaptors--- Edelmann part #258430 1/4 X 3/16 will get you where you need to be.

That's exactly what my Napa guy came up with, Evan. He said that he could get the blocks in 1/4" out of Georgia in three days or he had a few 1/4 x 3/16 adaptors in stock. Thanks, guys.
