New member just finishing a 55 first series 3100. When trying to put the rearview mirror back on noticed 3 holes in triangle pattern at top center of cab but neither the 55 3 hole mirror bracket nor the 54 2 hole mirror bracket would line up or work with these holes. Review of truck pics before assembly showed dash mounted mirror. Does anybody know if any 55 first series models came stock with a dash mount mirror and, if so, where I might get this mount?? Hey Ed, inasmuch as the 55.1 truck is similar in more ways to the 47-54 chevys, you might should post your question on the 47-54 forum. There are a few guys who have 55.1 trucks there. PS. We all love to see pictures!!
