56 3200 or Not?

I looking at a 56 3200. The truck has the long bed and 3200 badging but the VIN 3A56L###### is telling me it's a 3100? Perhaps I'm confused ?
Are there any sugestions?

If it's a 1/2 ton longbed, the 3200 badges are correct. Maybe the cab/ vin tag came from another truck?

Is their a secondary location of the vin on the frame?

Sounds to me like it may have had a cab-ectomy.

Measure wheelbase. If 123" it is a 3200. If 113" it is a 31xx.
