I am looking to see if anyone has used the v-8 desert cooler radiator. I have a 383 stroker engine, approx 425hp. Will the desert cooler work or should i try to find a universal aluminum radiator. Please help.....

I have heard via a radiator shop that aluminum radiators are not too special in cooling ability,and that you may benefit from using a custom radiator core with 3 rows of larger tubes to get the best cooling.I have a 383 stroker,and customized radiator with 5/16th inch tubes if I remember correctly.
