Hello, I bought the window repair kit and have got the vent portion completed. That was a pain, But I think it will be air tight now and not whistle when I drive down the road. Now for the flexible channel that goes around the large window. My old one pulled out there was no glue, screws, rivets or clips. So how are these supposed to be held in place. Surely it doesn't just lay in the groove does it? Also the vertical channel that runs down along the latch area inside the door is not fastened at the top, only the bottom. Is that by design, or should I tack weld that at the top edge to firm it up? I'll also be gluing the felt in the vertical channel on the front of the big window track. Any good tips on how to best do that. I have both the shop manual and the factory manual but these small details are not really detailed. Thanks for any info and suggestions. Rebel Roger
