57 hood latch mech. Chevy and Gmc same??

    I've misplaced my hoodlatch mechanism. Is the Gmc one the same as the Chevy one?

    I don't think they are the same. GMC part # is 3737093. This is a '57 only part. Used on all models 370 and smaller except COE.
