    Hey guys,
Curious as to where I should be putting my speakers. The headunit is going to be mounted to a steel plate inside the glove box compartment and I plan on putting a sub either under the seat or behind the bench seat (probably under the seat). I could put them beneath the big back window, but it might be too loud so close to ear level? Has anyone placed them under the dash or in the side kick panels? I'm trying to steer clear of putting them in the doors.

Sorry Jonny i couldn't Help myself! lol

Kik Panel location Or remove and replace the Tank with one under your frame might give you more room behind the seat your looking for to Thump the Tune's in your Truck!
    Good luck!

I always prefer the kick panel location for better sound quality .

Under / behind the seat means the sound waves have to pass through / under / around spft thngs , this causes muffled sound .

The good thing is : many different suppliers of good quality kick panel spreaker boxes ~ do not scrimp on speakers ! .

    Haha love it Allen!

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah I didnt want to mount the actual speakers under the seat or behind the seat down low because of the muffled sound plus it'll get drowned out by the sub. looks like il have to make those kick panels work.
