ok,so im getting ready to put a new ring and pinion in the apache(mine is a 58 with a 10 bolt 8 1/2 rear)to make it more highway/interstate friendly,and i have 2 questions for someone more knowledgeable than me:will any ring and pinion for a 10 bolt 8 1/2 chevy rearend work?or do i need one specifically for the apache?also,my speedometer will be off once the rear is changed,so is it adjustable,or do i need a new speedometer gear or what?
