Are so hard to find parts for in my area were I live,because so many people hold on to them&the junk yards dont have these trucks in their yards because they are liked so much by everybody they pull them out of the junkyards an put them back on the road.
Yup, thats' for sure. For me, finding the parts is part of what makes this fun. Endless hours on e-Bay, early morning hours at swap meets, hitting the wrecking yards just to browse around,,, It's fun ! I typically will grab stuff I don't need right now, but know I will in the future. I had a clean set of rear doors in my garage for a year before I used them. I found a set of NOS core support braces on e-Bay that I held for 3 years just in case. Turns out I had one broken I discovered when I took the front end off last year. Start with a plan of what you will be doing then start rat-holing parts for the day when you get to it ! DVal
