    I could use some help,

I have a 1960 c10 SWB Stepside with the famous torsion bar suspension under it. I have a 50's Hot Rod theme right now. I installed 4" lower rear springs out back and (I'm sad to say) just cranked down the front torsion bars untill it too was 4" lower. So far, the camber is not bad, but I have clearance problems with the torsion bar mounts at the rear crossmember (they hit objects in drives etc.). I have just totally redone the front drum brakes, bearings and seals so, I really don't want to scrap the front suspension just yet. What I would like to do is remove the torsion bars from the lower A-arms, rotate them one increment in the A-arm and tighten the mounts back up for clearance again. How do I REMOVE the torsion bars from the A-arms. Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Robert
