    Hi family,
I won a GM steering column off of ebay, it is sweet, but I found out it has a telescopic shaft. It didn't come with an adapter nor do I see a tab to set or stop the column shaft from moving up and down with the extra 2 to 3 inches of travel. I want to use a steering wheel that I won in another auction. It's from a '94 lumina. The splines fit perfectly, but there's that 3 inches movement in the shaft (well, actually about 1 1/2 with the wheel attached.) Is there a specific adapter I can purchase to make the difference in the shaft play. I sent the seller an email, but haven't heard from him yet. It seems to be with the 60's to 80's time period.
    Thanks in advance.
