I've got a '61 Chevy. The grill looks to be chrome and the center lettering looks to be aluminum. Did they make the big part of the grill in chrome? I thought they were all SS or Aluminum. Regardless, I'm trying to get the letters polished up and not having any success yet. Has anyone had any success in getting the letters to look "new" again, and if so.. how did you do it?
