I need to know whether or not a 64-66 chevy cab will fit a 62 chevy pick-up. I can't find a 64-66 chevy pick-up for sale, but I found a 62 Chevy for sale. I really love the looks of the 64-66 trucks. I need to know if the old steering column will work and if the mounts will line up.

Hi Six two. Just my two cents. If you like the 64-66,, keep looking.
The 62 has torsion bar suspension in the front, and other subtile differences between the later models. The earlier suspension will give you fits when trying to repair or upgrade to newer improvements like disk brakes. Keep looking. There are plenty of good 64-66 trucks out there.

    Hi,
Also the 64-66 will not have master/slave clutch/brake setup. So you can put power brakes on a 64-66. Headers will fit 64-66 without hassles also. Front window is 1/2 price of a 62.

    Have 62 3/4t ....62 1/2t.....64 1/2t....ect...
