Save your pennies. Chevy's rust out at the fenders. But you have choices, you can get either fiberglass or good ole Japanies steel.
While it's difficult, it's not impossible to find fenders on e-Bay, the newspaper classifieds, or a wrecking yard. I got a clean pair of used fenders off an e-Bay vendor by "ask the seller" function. He wasn't auctioning fenders, but had other 60-64 truck items for sale. I asked about fenders and scored a pair from Arizona for $100 each plus shipping. I used the same tactic to replace the two rear barn doors on the panel truck, ( try and find THOSE!), for $30 each. Be creative in looking. The hunt is half the fun of bringing back these old girls. Hey 283 what kind of shape is that hood in? Are you using it? Would like to get a good hood to replace the one I have its baddly rusted at the corners. I am also having issues with the fenders as well but im working the issue. LOL
