here's an uninteresting question for you. I want to get a fan shroud for my 64 (has a 327). No more 60-66 chevy truck shrouds in the bone yard here. What year and kind of car or truck will have a shroud that will fit my c-10 pick up? An answer could save me plenty of valuable time and walking in this 90 plus Colorado weather. THANKS for any help I might get!!!!!!!
I agree, just spend the money for a new one from ChevyDuty and save the trouble. I don't know of any other vehicles that use that style shroud other than the pickups. Most all of the cars used a different style. If and when you do find one in a salvage yard, it coudl be damaged and then you have to go to the trouble of getting it out. Not a lot of fun, believe me mine had a large crack in it and a piece missing out of the bottom of it, I have replaced it since with a new one from ChevyDuty, but it was not a lot of fun to put in. -- Mark A. " but it was not a lot of fun to put in. " >Mark A. Bailey Really ?? Mine was a snap. I think it took all of a half hour. Same one,, from ChevyDuty...
Thanks everybody. I got an old shroud and fixed it up. I set it in place, drilled two holes on either side, then put screws in the holes. It was easy, and it took only about twenty minutes. There was Lots of room to work with. That's what I like about older vehicles. They're great!!! will54 from Colorado.... Happy Truckin'
