65 1/2t rear end

anyone know what ratios truck came out with? It's in a GMC w/305V-6, 2 sp power glide. Also what are options for changing over to 5 lugs on the rear? thanks for any info...

Hey,
My 64 has 273's, front and rear. Take a ride to a bookstore and look in the "Chevy by the Numbers" book available for your year. It has all options and colors.

Rear end options are early 70's. Try to find a 72 and you will be set for an easy disk brake upgrade in the future.

The 1965 1/2tons could have three different ratios.They had a 3.07,a 3.73 and a 4.11.
