65 C-10 Question and pix

I was paying the ticket taker for Flea market parking and the guy looked at my truck and said it had the wrong dash? He said the 65 dash dipped around the glove box. I said that's the 63 dash. He said NO! I've been doing this for 30 years and I should know. Also he said my hood was from a 61? I thought 63 - 65 hoods were the same? Nevertheless, the guy was just trying to make conversation and flex his knowledge a bit. Thought I better look into it and see what the real deal was.

your hood is not a 61 it is a 62 to a 66 hood and your dash is a well not a 60 toi a 63 chevy dash so from that the guy doesn't quite know what he is talking about. atleast thats what i get
