I have a 65 C10 with a broken lower control arm. I have been shopping for a new or used set. I don’t have the funds for tubular arms. I was wondering which other years / models control arms would also fit.

    A 64 will fit, I'm pretty sure a 66 will also

Thanks. I have found a set out of 77 C10 that are in very nice shape. Does anyone know if they would fit my 65 C10?

I'd like to say yes. I think that they are really close but use a different balljoint. Just compare it to the original and make an educated decision. If you are doing a disk brake conversion with spindles I can't think of any reason why that control arm wouldn't fit, but maybe someone else knows better. Ohterwise, I think a balljoint swap would make the '77 arm work. If they are really dissimilar, numerous companies sell reproductions these days, maybe even the host! Good luck!

If you are going to take the ones off of a 77 , then u should change out the complete front end so that you can utilize the disc brakes from the 77. It is not very hard. I put a 77 front suspension on my 61 GMC and i love the ride.

    Hope this helps.
