Help!!! I have dropped my 65 fleetside onto a set of 22" rims & tires and need to find a set of wide inner fender wheelhouses. I have seen some of you cut and weld in a 2-3" strip to your factory set. Does anyone make a set of wide ones other than the summit or Jegs tubs. I want to keep the factory look! Vinny:
Cut your factory ones and weld in a strip of metal. The bends can be recreated with a bench vise and some muscle. Using a MIG make small tacks and let it cool so you don't warp it.
Cut your factory wheel tubs and weld in a strip of metal. The bends needed can easily be make in a bench vise.
If you can find another set of tubs or one tub you can split it in half to widen the ones you have. That way it would look like stock tubs but wider of course.
