I know this might sound dumb, but do you know for sure that the gauges are the problem? I know from experience, that wiring faults are super common in those old trucks and are usually the culprit, and 9 times out of 10 it's a grounding issue due to "custom" radio & alarm installations, rust, corrosion, etc.
After having my under-dash wiring catch fire 3 days after I bought my truck, and then after driving it around for 8 years - all patched-up with #14 stranded service wire, wire nuts & used household light switches, (yes, I'm an electrician)finally, I just recently restored the electrical system in my '66 and almost everything came back on line when I fixed the wiring harnesses. If you need any help with that let me know I would be happy to lend a "virtual" hand!
I have an extra 'good used' oil pressure gauge and a temp gauge if you get desperate!
