hello y all
i'm puttin a big block in my c-10 p/u (was small block)
chevy duty catalog list motor mounts for them but..
list one for 68-71~~ for 149.00 each
or 72 for 14.95 each ..
so my ??? is what did they change on the frame(if anything)
are the motor mounts(rubber) and the engine brackets( bolted on engine sides)the parts that are different(no one list frame motor brackets for a 72)makes me think the engine brackets(side of engine)
are whats different...
the 72 mounts (rubber) look just like the ones the 454 motor bracket(bolted to side of engine) where bolted to....82 dually..
as u can see the 68-71 set up cost 60 for brackets(bolt to frame) and rubber mounts for 150.00 then times 2 = 420.00
or the 72 rubber mounts for 15.each 30.00bucks...
not going for reso stock... just looking to bolt in engine...
and 30 bucks beats 420 any day of the week
