    Hello
I was wanting to know if anyone could give me some information on wood flat beds for 67 trucks what kind of wood is used for this,I am thinking about yellow pine with a oak stain and then polyurethane the whole bed top and bottom,I am thinking a full 1 inch thickness for the wood planking, would all of this be a good route to go with this project all input is very welcome as i am putting a lot of work into this truck and want very much to come out nice,I will have pictures at a later date.

    Thank you
    Chevyman2:)

Chevy use some sort of pine from the factory. The only problen with pine is that it dings up easly. I would reccomend spending the extra money for oak. It is a lot tuffer than the pine.

Check out Mar-K out of Oklahoma, they have some pretty good looking kits.
