Could anyone give me some input on flipping the axel to the top of the leaf pack? I figure that would be the best way to get 4" - 5" of drop in the rear (and has to be cheaper than new leafs). Does anyone make a kit to do it or do I just need to fab it myself?

    Use lowering blocks.

As much as I would like to, I can't. Being a GMC, I have rear leafs rather than coil springs, and my axle sets below the leaf pack. But I appriciate the input regardless.

Check out BellTech and see if their rear hanger kit will work.

Their kit may work and I see that they offer a rear flip kit as well. I never thought to check their website before. Thanks!

Notice that their Flip Kit will take the rear down 6 inches and has a C-notch kit included. A bit more work, and a bit more drop. If you drop 6 inches in the rear you will need a 4 inch front drop to level the truck. The ONLY safe way to do that is a combination of drop spindles and drop springs.

The spring relocator kit will take it down to the 4 inches that you asked about.
