69 C/10 Transmission

    I Have A 69 C/10 With A 3 Speed . I Want To Paint The Transmission The Color From The Factory. Does Anyone Know What That Would Be?

    plz dont take my word for sure, but i think black would be the org. color would be black

    I thought the tranny's were kind of a silver/aluminum color. I just put one in my truck that I picked up second-hand. After scrubbing off all of the grease and dirt, it was kind of a cast aluminum color. I'd wager that Eastwood has an original color paint guide, which you can use as a guide at your local Rust-oleum store. Good luck!

    The tranny is not painted. It is made of aluminum and doesn't require paint.

    Thanks For The Imformation I Will Be Painting The Trany Some Time This Winter. My Trany Is Cast Iron:)

    you can buy the paint from eneyone of the old truck part seller sites it was ether cast iron paint or they did it a off orange that they should also have
