I had the misfotune of rolling a 3rd owner very straight 71 3/4 ton 2wd pickup. so now i am looking for body parts. and i need to know what cabs will work? i have noticed that body mounts in a catalog are different between 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks, and 2wds and 4x4s. i know the tranny "hump" is different in a 4x4 and manual 2wd then a automatic 2wd. but whats the differance between a 1/2 ton 2wd and a 3/4 ton 2wd cab?, or are they the same and the mounts differant? thanks for any help.karl

There are no differences in the cabs, only the hump and that is only on trucks with the granny 4 speed. I have a 71 3/4 ton soon to be lowered 4 inches and a 72 1/2 ton 4x4 shortbox(almost finished. I have yet to find any differences in the sheetmetal, aside from the front fenders and hood on the early models.
