i have a ?76/78 k20 short bed 350/th350/dana 44/14 bolt custom. it had originally a 1st edition tie rod and drag link for 1976 which was dropped to avoid springs. all that was available was later edition straight tie rod and drag link which i have managed to install. i only have about 3/8" clearance from springs. will it hit? has anyone had this experience? the steering dampener bracket also had to be fabricated and welded on due to different hole location on new drag link(ie long tie rod).also does anyone know of resource for new spring/shackle bushing kits cheap?
