My engine blew a rod and the mechanic says i need a new engine.
Should i replace with a newer engine or would in be a better idea to rebuild the engine already installed in the truck.
With that heavy of a truck I would consider a 383 stroker kit if the block is good or convert to a big block if you need a complete engine. Or you could get a 383 crate engine if you want to stay with a small block.
