I have an '85 Suburban, 2WD, 3/4 ton, 350 V8, automatic trans equipped with instrument panel warning lights. A friend gave me a similar used instrument panel with full instrumentation. The Chevy dealer says the number that appears on the external printed circuit harness on the rear of the instrument panel indicates it is for a 78-80 truck. My question is will the 78-80 instrument panel work in my '85 vehicle? I know I have to change speedometers if they will interchange and will have to use
different oil pressure & temperature sending units. Any advice or experience in this area?
