86 throtle cable

    i have a 1986 chevy with a 350 and i am needing to know if i go and buy a new throttle cable is that all i need or do i need a braided hose to run it through...kinda complicated but hopefully one of u can help me out..thanks alot

    What wrong with the throttle cable case broken? you need a new ? trying to make it look nicer?
    If you are buying GM throttle cable that all you will need unless you do not have the manifold bracket or the rubber firewall plug.
