Awhile back I swapped for an old 87 1/2 ton 4x4. I swapped for it to just kind of use around the place. Since then decided to fix it up a little. The throttle springs are gone, and as bad as I hate admit it, since I haven't owned anything near these old in a long time, I cannot picture in my head how everything hooks up! The accelerator is SO stiff on this thing! I get a lot of jumps and jerks when giving it gas. It's a 350 with the fuel injected throttle body carburetor and none of my manuals show anything I can refer to.
If anyone has a 350 with a throttle body, I would sure appreciate a picture of the left side of the carburetor! Something showing the assembly from the throttle cable bracket on. Spring placement, etc.
Any help would certainly be appreciated!!

Can't you just go to FLAPS & buy softer return springs ?? .

It might help if you post a pic of the intake manifold and the throttle body area where the spring is hooked up then we can see if it looks right.
