HELP I AM THINKING ABOUT SWAPPING A 230-250-292 6 CYL INTO MY 57 PU, WHERE CAN A PERSON FIND A/C BRACKETS FOR THIS ENGINE? UP HERE IN NEW ENGLAND THERE ARE NOT MANY TRKS OF THOSE YEARS WITH A/C. ANY HELP OR SUGESTIONS????? THANKS BLUEDOT MAN

If you go to a machine shop they might be able to fabricate a bracket for you.

I would look at Ebay motors. I pickup a set of brackets from a 81 inline there for $45.00 including the R4 compressor see item 2480071955 . In the last few months I have seen one set going for $80 nobody bid on that. A complete running 250 engine with AC brackets and compressor go for $200.00. But did see them before months ago. Just a matter how long you want to wait.
