a couple of questions

    i have a few questions

    1) does anyone know where the radiator support rod things attatch to the firewall?

    2) anyone know which wires do where on the ignition switch the po of my truck had taken it out to have a key made for it but never reconnected it

    Hey,

    If your truck is a GMC then you would have the rods because chevy did not have them.If your tuck is a gmc they attatch to the round part of the fire wall.You will see the 2 3/8 holes on ether side that is were the rods bolt to.Your switch is as follows... green go's to #2 ,violet go's to start ,brown to #1 and red wire to bat.

    truckman you my friend just made my week lol my truck is a chevy i was wondering about the brace parts because the rad support seems to have parts to attach them and the igniton wiring just made my life a whole lot easier

    its running but it doesnt stop :p non of the hydrolics work that and its still sitting on bias ply tires the backs being snow stud tires

    i actually have all new hydrolics master and wheel cylinders sitting in a box in my garage i just need to bend some new line cause there is no way the stuff in there now is comming loose

    truckman you and i should get together and talk trucks sometime by my calculations your what an hour and a half from me? i would like to see your collection :D

    has anyone here ever had to order a distibutor cap:confused: the local parts house says im looking at 2 weeks for it to show up:confused::confused: and how much would a typical balast resister run napa was of no help at all
