speaking of gas tanks.. i just have the single tank as of now. is it possible to relocate the tank to the inside of the frame rail to avoid the side impact "problems"? how hard is it to add the 2nd tank? anyone do this?

Current update on the truck. 355 c.i. being dropped in right now!

i don't know how often you get hit in the side but what a better way to go. think of it you are raceing a bmw 840I his 12 cylinder 6 speed took you off the line because you wern't raceing until he stompped it for his girl friend. your playing catchup grab 2nd. gear hit the nitrous and stand on it in a split second the 502 screems blody murder and those 345/50/16 Housiers wrinkle and grab, both wheel wells fill with smoke and before you can correct the bmer is in the mirrors. you look ahead and a tourist from the UK has jest made a left turn into your lane and is on the wrong side of the road right in front of you. you hit the binders flip the wheel kick the gas and suddenly ****SIDE IMPACT!!

    happens all the time

you can drop an old mustang tank in the back above the spare tire area.
