Hello, how do I adjust the steering gear of my truck. The clearance of the steering wheel is over two inch if you turn it. Is there a screw which I can adjust? I someone has a photo it will help. Wolfgang
! Warning ! This is a very critical adjustment , please look up my old posts on this and DO NOT try to adjust it until you've filled the box with the correct gear oil , ~ never , EVER put grease in any steering gear ! It's Road Time , I'll try to come back to-night , O.K. ? . I am sure one of the guys will find and link my older posts on how to do this important job correctly . failure to follow the proper procedures will result in CATASTROPHIC FAILURE of the steering box ! .
