Advice needed in "How To" Shorten the torque tube 7 inches ?

    When installing the Advance Adapters OD and the SM 420 or SM 465 tranny together you need to shorten the torque tube by about 7 inches ! Any of you guys have shortened the tube and have good results with it ?

    If posseble ad some photos of your solution.

    Photo looks like the "Armageddon". Must have been a very bumpie ride indeed or did it got a bit to hot there with the tourch :D
