I know someone that wants to sell me rear fenders new that he bought from our host. He found some oem fenders for a good price so he said he would sell his. Was wondering if anyone has bought aftermarket fenders and what I can expect when dealing with aftermarket fenders. I know they're thinner sheet metal, just wondering if there flimsy. Should I keep my beat up fenders and fix them or will the aftermarket be ok? Thanks
Food for thought: If you fix the OEM fenders you won't be hanging foreign parts on your classic truck. I'd bet your old truck would rather keep the originals... kind of like a best friend for life's journey
I do feel the same way, I just have so much body work to do it's a little overwhelming. But, I will save money that way. Btw got my new wheels and tires And my tilt bed floor
Looking at your wheels and tires I am guessing you must be a youngster... Me being an old fart; shiny wheels, & tires with lot's of sidewall trip my old school trigger. But variety is the spice of life! Sure do enjoy your updates! John
Fix the ones you have or just buy the china clipper ones and be done with it, btw wheels and tires are looking good, green, red or orange for me would have set it off but, black works just fine. I wanted to do mt 60 jeep in black chrome but it runs just fine without it. Thanks for sharing the photos.
I'm 49 Roadster, but young at heart. I fine myself moving along with the times. I grew up in the 70's but, love the new look.
Thanks man, I'm building a sinister theme, black on black. Black wheels satin black truck and grill only a couple things will have chrome. Not into the bling like most. I like dark and mysteries. Lol.
