Alternator Bracket

I have a 1964 Chevy C-10 I need help on where the top bracket that holds the alternator goes (283 Engine) and can i put it on the passengers side of the engine.(Intake manifold or the waterpump)Thanks

this should be easy-look at salvage yard brackets from mid-1970's which will place the alternator on the passenger side

If you go this route, be sure to match the waterpump to the same style (long or short) that is on your truck.
