ALTERNATOR WIRING HELP PLEASE!!!

    I AM PUTTING IN A NEW STYLE ALTERNATOR WITH INTERNAL REGULATOR TO GET RID OF THE EXTERNAL. WHAT WIREING DO I NEED TO DO??
    CAN YOU PLEASE HELP, I WANT TO DRIVE ASAP!

    Cori, The following is copied from another web site;

    "Normally, when an external to internal alternator conversion is done, the white wire that used to go to the old alternator is taped off and un-used. The dark blue wire from the old alternator is usually hooked to the new alternator's #1 connector. And at the site of the old voltage regulator (up beside the radiator), the blue and brown wires are tied together. And the red and white wires are taped off and un-used.

    As long as your alternator conversion was done using the above (or similar) procedure you should be all set in terms of having a functioning charging system."
