I have a 1970 Chevy with a 350 small block from an '88 Chevy van and a new automatic tranmission. It was put in half ass and I'm trying to get original amp gauge to work. The engine harness connection was butchered on the left side. They were all cut but one or two and of course not labelled. I figured out the temp sending unit. The diagrams I've looked at show a brown wire from alternator to the right side, third row, inside spot. But that has a wire already running to front of truck under fender. Please help! Many more wiring questions to come.
