I might have to reconsider a 6 banger now... http://youtu.be/Vk-AJEkkR9I Sorry if this causes discomfort to you restoration fellers. P.S. Nate, its a 292, and so mean he about loses it at 4:40.
Racing '36 Wow ; Not sure what to say , the 292 is a long stroke engine and won't stay to - gether long as those RPM's . Lots and lots of very hard works in that rig .
Definitely not streetable horsepower. Sounds like preignition until wound all the way up. One backfire and goodbye turbo. Looks like excellent body on a beautiful design, 1936 Chevy.
more inline 6s drag racing... Very Cool, off topic, probably wrong forum, French Canadians, FULLY LOADED, UP HILL!!!! http://youtu.be/DCo5uX8a1hs Reminds me of my hired help hauling coal. Sorry if this causes a tree-humper discomfort. Not really.
Yeah, impressive and kinda cool as long as the truck isn't mine. I've put many a clutch in HD trucks, not any fun. Would be interesting to know what they are using, must be bulletproof judging by the left wheel jumping clear off the ground on takeoff. Some of the guys around here take their daily work trucks to the truck-pulls at fair time to compete. Doesn't make much sense to me, tear up the thing that makes your living for bragging rights and maybe $200.
