Where can I find a single mast antenna for my 65 Chevy?
I want one I can take off when placing the truck cover on.

    try a late model mustang

I am sure there are many that will work fine. I was just doing some painting on a 05 Mustang. The mast screws off. The Mustang forums say these can be cut down to 11 inches and still get pretty good reception. Do you have a late model salvage yard local that will let you walk around? If so check out all the late model stuff. The hardest part will be geting the cable out of the car.
Why don't you consider a power unit that retracts when the radio is turned off. That would be a lot easier than removing the mast every time you cover it.

    Single Mast Antenna

    Yes Beck,
I know you are right. However, what I am looking for is a single mast type antenna that will mount to the curvature in the right side filler panel.
Does anyone know of a power antenna that will mount correctly too that same area? I don't want one someone has seen in a catalog that should work! Point me to one that they have put on a truck that WILL work.
    Thanks for any help,
    Mike T
