Someone was asking about how much to insure their vehicle for and I wanted to give a real life example. I have about $24k in my 47' restoration, (your welcome Chevy Duty). It cost me $250/yr with that value declared and agreed upon with Hagerty's. I bought a 53' that is somewhat custom but very nice and in some ways nicer then the 47'. Needs a little detail finishing for $12,600. I can buy any of these for $12,600 now as the market is really depressed, just check Ebay. NADA average retail for these is $13,200. I declared replacement value as $13,200 on each of them. The new policy was $237/year with both cars on that single policy. So...$13 less for two vehicles. My point is, just being totally objective with yourself on what you can replace your truck for will keep you riding and insured, not isurance poor. Flashlight
