Anyone ever see a hauler like this ??

    How odd is this ? I do not ever think I had seen cars hauled like this ? I am assumming this is a semi-truck hauler of Fords, but ....doesn't it look strange ?
    Look at the truck cab, whew.
    Anyone ever see such a thing ?
    From the 1949 to 50's I think.

    That's very interesting ~ as it only hauls three cars at a time , I'm betting it was a short hop hauler for special projects or between dealers .....

    They are 49's, the gas filler cap is exposed, not under a flap.

    That looks like it was made from a London double decker bus.The grill , headlights & front wheel position are clues.

    Ugly Hauler

    I think it was a prototype G*C hauler, the square lines and ugly front are a big clue:p

    In 1949 ? that's an interesing idea as Jolly Olde England was hard in the throes of the " Export Or DIE ! " fever then and would have prolly sold the chassis for pennies on the dollar.....
